About Me

Like a lot of Dominicans, I grew up with grandma. She taught my sister and me to think independently. We were mostly on lockdown in NYC with occasional sprints to the motherland. Encouraged reading and saying our prayers at age 7. We were left in her care, cause my father was deported to the DR for not having his green card. Mom didn't either and ran hard, got lost in NYC's concrete jungle until she finally saw the wisdom in filing and becoming a citizen. Grandma stepped up her game, a cousin of Dictator Trujillo, and practiced her iron fist. So I quickly turned to God early in life - read my bible. Fought. Prayed some more, then met a pastor that schooled me in all things ministry, Marcelo Mojica. He encouraged me to go to College and get more knowledge. I became a grade school teacher. Also a medical researcher, a Microsoft trainer and currently a blogger! so yeah.
